Cabin construction begins!

 hull is now moved into garage #2 with more headroom 

to accommodate cabin construction

 top half frames carefully scarfed onto hull bottom half frames

 care taken to check they are plumb

Foredeck stringers and kingplank

2 layers of 4mm okoume ply will cover ample deck camber 

Storage along aft cabin sides

 handy storage along edge of seating in aft cabin

steering cables will also pass thru this storage area

Head sink cabinet

curved shape leaves more floor space for showering

a nice continuation of the galley cabinets too,
counter edge trim to be added

 finished cabinet with trim

Forward and Aft Berth watertight Hatches/Storage

 1/16" neoprene gaskets installed,

stainless bolts into threaded inserts as hold downs,

these are the 2 hatches in the forward berth

 these watertight compartments can be used for storage by removing the hatch lids,

these are the 3 hatches in the aft berth

Floors

 floor supports glued to cabinetry front

 floors are 3/8" okoume ply with epoxy and 6 oz glasscloth both sides
